Gimme them lined eyes, and gimme them NOW! Collection 2000 Extreme 24 Hour Felt Tip Liner Review

Hello all!

You all know how much of a fan I am of that pin up look. Recently in my Joan Holloway inspired post here I mentioned that I had been using a new eyeliner. The liner in question is Collection 2000 Extreme Felt Tip Liner I've been using it for about 2 weeks now. I like to properly road test products, there's no point just putting it on and writing a positive review. I want to see how it lasts, how it holds up after a few uses, does the liquid get thicker or dry up? So two weeks of use and here's my review.

Buy it if: You're a liner novice who wants something easy to apply, a bargain, or if you want to get artistic
Don't buy it if: You're after long lasting coverage and a deep shade
Price: £2.99

I like it. There I said it, is it the best I've tried? No. Is it the worst, goodness me no. One of the things I found about the product is it's very easy to apply, the felt tip nib is very rigid and liner novices can most likely use it to angle the colour over the eye a lot easier. It is very easy to use, it's like a pen so you don't really need to have brush skills and you're not daunted by dealing with excess liquid. It is very user friendly. I've mentioned before it was an impulse buy. Any liner that tells me it will last 24 hours I have to try. So the question, does it last 24 hours? No. Alas not. If you rub your eye or wear a particularly dewy foundation prepare for it to be gone quite quickly. It will last if you don't touch your eye or seal the liner with a little touch of powder.

So the verdict, it's easy a great place for beginners to start, as you can see I've enjoyed playing with it. I'd like to try it in the other colours, and for the price you can't really go too far wrong. Bargain.

Well folks much love and hope you enjoyed that very brief little post
