Eiffel Tower or Arch de Triumph, Brows Worthy of Paris

I'm continuing my meander through my Soap and Glory products again today. I've made it my mission to review everything I've got, it was a bit of a New Year's Resolution if I'm honest and I still have so many posts to go but today I'm looking at Soap and Glory's Arch de Triumph.

I'm a total newbie when it comes to brow pencils, shadows, pastes, HD, all the rest. I've never really used them so when I went dark on the hair front my naturally light brown eyebrows needed to be darker. I'd recently been asked on Twitter what was Soap and Glory's Arch de Triumph like so it seemed like the right time to really try it out and tell you all about it.

2 crayons in one, highlighter and shaper

So here's the product, ta-da! It's one large crayon with 2 ends. One end shapes the brows with a dark brown colour. The other end is a white highlighter which sits under the brow and helps highlight that beautiful curve that we all strive for. So I got my hands on it as a total newbie and did my darndest to do something with my brows which don't have a nice natural arch (boo).

Nice and soft and very easily applied. A little goes a very long way here as you blend it in below the brow.

The shaper that I've used the heck out of

So how did I find it? Well the crayons are lovely and soft, and there's no struggle getting it to go onto the brow. It also helps you avoid that scary super pencilled look. I don't know if I'm quite ready for the really defined brows but I thought this was really easy to do without being too heavy. I also found there seems to be a real ease to building it up. If you want it darker you just feather it on a little denser, and to keep it lighter keep the feathering light.

The highlighter actually was fabulous. Now you all know what I'm like so it won't surprise you that I have loads of highlighters from Benefit, Smashbox etc but this is the exact same consistency and is really light and easy to apply and actually really does a good job. I didn't think it would make much of a difference but I was quite surprised.

So I gave it a shot girls and here is my first brow pencilling and highlighting attempt with the Arch de Triumph!

Final Brows

I'm pretty pleased with it, they've gone from light brown to a darker colour and I've been able to shape them from no curve at all to a little bit of a curve. I've also put a little highligher under my brow and it really does accentuate them I think.

How about you guys what do you think?

Much Love
