Wedding Wednesday: Vintage Tea Party Decoration, Bunting Time!

Another Wedding Wednesday! Yay! I actually love these, they give me a chance to peruse Pinterest with the fervent drive I adore. Today we're talking decoration, and more specifically bunting. If I had to give you a run down of what I want my wedding to be I'd say, relaxed, pretty, vintage and personal. I see bunting and it makes me happy, it makes me think French shabby chic and celebration.

So today is my favourite bunting pictures. My fiancĂ© and I have been looking at a few places for the wedding. Small boutique hotels, historic buildings in a little disrepair (so cool) and we're really excited about unconventional venues. The historic spaces are big and need dressed which is a venture in itself, there's so many ideas floating round, we don't know what we will decide on yet.

Love this so much. Isn't this a gorgeous picture?

I love how quirky this is, I made bunting cupcakes for Father's Day last year and they were so much fun.

bunting, always bunting.

When I mentioned historic buildings in disrepair, this is exactly what I have in mind.

wedding bunting

I thought this was totally adorable

bunting, bunting, bunting

I really like everything about this, from the birdcages to the candles.

Bunting bunting bunting

Just gorgeous

Doesn't this just make you happy?

So much love for this.

This is gorgeous, very sophisticated but still relaxed

So as you can see my love for bunting continues. How about you guys? Any fans of bunting out there, what do you think about a bunting filled wedding.

I love bunting. I know it's gone a bit crazy recently, but that's not stopping me from having a bunting filled wedding next summer. We are going to pick a load of vintage fabrics, and once the big day is over, a family friend is going to stitch all of the bunting together to make a quilt for us to keep. I'm so excited!

The picture of the kids holding the bunting is really sweet! I think pastel or patterned bunting would be gorgeous for a wedding, and definitely a different look to others! xo
