Perfume reviews are a bit of a strange one for me. I find myself sniffing and sniffing my arm like a tracker dog, every time I smell it I get a different scent and a different idea of what the fragrance is until eventually I give up and get a sore head. Guess Girl Belle has been one of those fragrances. I had to go and lie down in a darkened room after I'd finished, the things I do for you girls!
So Guess Girl Belle fits into the Guess fragrance house as an offshoot of Guess Girl which was released in 2012. It's a perfume which is 'the embodiment of irresistible, mysterious character of female seduction' quite a claim isn't it?
The fragrance palette is made up of berries in champagne, Arab jasmine, sandalwood, musk and vanilla. It's very sweet, a youthful fragrance which is unsurprising being that it's Guess Girl, the market here is aimed at a younger customer. The jasmine and musk is quite strong, it's a little overpowering for me but fans of the floral, powdery scent will be a fan of this. It reminds me a little of Michael Kors Very Hollywood Sparkling, so if you're a fan of that particular type of scent I think this will be for you.
Sweet, floral and a little bit of musk, I got a real wash of vanilla when I sniffed. Give it a waft when you're next in a perfumery!
