In preparation I did a little baking, my first ever attempt at macaroons and carrot cake cupcakes. Mainly I went with them because I find Christmas food can get a little too rich and stodgy so a little lighter baking always goes down well with me.
My first macaroons! They were actually very tasty and disappeared in a flash, the boys were cooking and by the time I came back in, they were gone. Typical.
I have only about two of these little carrot cake cupcakes left, considering I made two dozen that's quite an achievement.
Our place is beginning to shape up quite nicely with a lot of our new furniture in it. Himself has made all my shelving and we're still not finished, but we'll get there, eventually! We're very comfortable though.
Stockings up for Santa.
Christmas Day outfit. Himself bought me this fabulous pug Christmas jumper from Bank it's Blond&Blonde, and I had to wear it with my tulle petticoat.
As one of Himself's pressies I asked my friend Saz from High Rook Designs if she would draw me a little portrait of Molly for the house. Isn't it fabulous? I'm so chuffed with it.
Ah the inevitable face picture, I had to show you all my HD Brows and LVL lash lift, those are my own lashes! Very worthwhile getting it done if any of you have been pondering getting your lashes made a bit more fabulous, done by the fabulous Studio D.
As a little present my mum bought me this lovely little diamond eternity ring, she thought it would sit nicely with my engagement ring, and it does. I'm very pleased with it, need to get it resized though, I'm very excited.
We had a really quiet Christmas with my mum and dad, himself and his brother. We mainly vegged out in front of the tv in our pyjamas, which is pretty standard for Christmas!
I hope you all had a great day!
